July-August issue of The Grog Ration now available.

The Society for the History of Navy Medicine was founded in May 2006. Since then, we have grown to nearly 100 members from around the world.

Our goal is to provide an opportunity for "Community, Collaboration and Camaraderie" for people who are interested in the study, research and writing about any and all aspects of the history of medicine as it relates to Navies and the maritime environment.

The Foundation for the History of Navy Medicine was launched on 28 May 2008. One Foundation mission is to support the work of the Society. Check the Foundation page for latest progress.
