The Foundation for the History of Navy Medicine came into being at the first meeting of its Board of Directors on 28 May 2008.

We have received our 501(c)(3) determination from the Internal Revenue Service, and tax exempt status from the State of California. We can now accept tax-deductible donations to support the work of the Society. Donations can be sent to the Treasurer at 131 el Camino Real, Vallejo CA 94590-3464.
